In these works, Captain Haddock and Cinderella have replaced Ellen Andree and Marcellin Desboutin in The Absinthe Drinker, and the Milkmaid has become a Catwoman feeding the famous felines populating cartoons and comics. Here again, Greg’s humorous touch and pop style leave the door open to multiple interpretations.
